Dr. Abbie A. Zubiel
Dr. Zubiel received her B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. Her post-doctoral training includes certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician and is the team chiropractor for the Boston Cannons (Men's Major League Lacrosse) and Lesley University Athletics. Dr. Zubiel utilizes a functional, kinetic chain approach while treating her patients, focusing on the cause of a symptom, rather than the symptom itself. She is a certified Graston Technique® provider and SpiderTech® kinesiology taping practitioner, and holds an advanced certificate of competency in whole food nutrition.
Dr. Zubiel has a strong clinical interest in perinatal care and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She has advanced training in gentle techniques for treating expecting mothers and has completed post-graduate studies in the fields of women's health, chiropractic management of pregnancy and birth trauma, and the Webster Technique. She is continually looking for opportunities to expand on her education and techniques in order to provide her patients with the most current, evidenced-led and comprehensive care possible. She is a strong advocate of leading a healthy lifestyle through paleolithic nutrition and keeps active with yoga, running, and skiing. She is a native of Beverly, Massachusetts. Dr. Zubiel practices at our Cambridge location.
